George “ Wayford” McDougald

Mr. George “ Wayford” McDougald, 74, of Bunnlevel, NC, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Central Harnett HospItal, Lillington, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of his brother, David (Jackie) McDougald (between the hours of 1:00 pm to 8:00 p.m.) located at: 1723 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Erwin, NC.

Mr. George leaves to cherish his memory two brothers; David (Jackie) McDougald, of Erwin, NC. and William McDougald, of Spring Lake, NC., a very special friend, Lusina Solis and adopted son, Justin Smith and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home Chapel,163 Irene Roberts Rd., Lillington, NC.
