Mr. Duane Anderson, 55, of Linden, NC, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Liberty Commons of Sanford, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received (from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily) at the home of his cousin;  Ella Williams located at, 503 W Pope Street, Dunn, NC 28334. 

Duane leaves to cherish his memories; brother; Jerry McKoy, of Lillington, NC, sisters, Janet Palmer, of Savannah, Georgia, Carolyn Sue McKoy, of Lillington, NC and Janet McKoy, of Lillington, NC, aunts; Eloise Dudley, of Fayetteville, NC., and Mother Elizabeth Royster, of Coats, NC., uncle; Robert McKoy; beloved caregiver/cousins of twenty years, Mr. William “CT” and Mrs. Brenda “Bren” Taylor, a very special cousin Elders Ella & Mr. Wade Williams, of Dunn, NC.,adopted sisters; Miss Sheila Monroe and Minister Brenda Cameron, along with a host of great aunts, uncles, extended family and many friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.,Celebration of Life will follow the viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, Lillington, NC

Interment will take place immediately after the service in McLean Cemetery, Bunnlevel, NC.
